When are campus tours?

Tours will be held every Thursday at 9am from Nov 6 - Feb 12

Additional Tuesday tours will be held:  Nov 11, Dec 9, Jan 27, Feb 10

Please note that tours are not held during testing weeks, including Jan 13-15 (MAP), Feb 17-26 (TELPAS)

When are campus observations?

Dr. Maria Montessori believed, “The senses, being explorers of the world, open the way to knowledge.”

We agree and invite you to experience Montessori with your senses. Once you have completed a campus tour, we will invite you to schedule a 30-minute observation of one of our classrooms to watch the Montessori work cycle in action.

Please note, the observation opportunity requires VIPS visitor background clearance:

STEP 1: Register online and complete the entire Online Application in Raptor Volunteer Management System and submit your application.

STEP 2: Once your application is completed you will see Pending Review on the screen.

STEP 3: An email regarding your approved status will be sent to your email address within 2-3 weeks.

                 If you do not receive an email, please follow-up with your designated school's VIPS Coordinator.

STEP 4: Once you are APPROVED, you are eligible to volunteer in any HISD school(s) for the current school year.
